Dr. Shah is a medical optometrist providing non-surgical diagnostic and therapeutic eye care. Residency trained with over a decade of experience working alongside ophthalmologists and surgeons, Dr. Shah is well versed in managing a spectrum of ocular conditions. Her expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of chronic dry eye, corneal dystrophies, ocular manifestation of systemic conditions, glaucoma, cataracts, retinal pathologies and neuropathies adds depth and expertise to the collaboration with Dr. Lalin. Dr. Shah also offers refractive care including glasses, wellness visits, and treatment of minor eye injuries.
Dr. Shah’s passion lies in refractive cataract surgery. Her enthusiasm for providing customized treatment options ensures patients feel empowered and confident in their decision-making. Dr. Shah received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Molecular/ Cellular Biology from the University of Connecticut, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University, previously known as the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Dr. Shah completed a Residency at the Veterans’ Affairs Hospital in Newington, Connecticut through the New England College of Optometry.
